Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with experience in Full Stack development, working on Backend, Web, and Mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NestJS, TypeScript, and React Native, with a focus on delivering end-to-end solutions based on user requirements and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new features in our backend, using NestJS and TypeScript.
  • Work on our React Native frontend apps, using Expo.io and TypeScript.
  • Plan, architect, and implement new features in our backend, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Be a part of decisions about architecture and features of the apps, influencing the development roadmap.
  • Implement, iterate, and release features in a cross-functional team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Be self-driven, coming up with new ideas on how to improve our product, and connecting the dots on your own.
  • Pay attention to detail, breaking complex tasks into smaller chunks, and finding a good balance in software development.
  • Extend and maintain our GraphQL API, integrating third-party services and APIs into our system.
  • Work with our product owners to deliver high-quality UI and UX, building reusable, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a strong background in NestJS, TypeScript, and React Native.
  • Experience in functional, object-oriented, and other programming paradigms, as well as software patterns in code.
  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar technical discipline.
  • Additional experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Expo.io, Mobile apps, CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, functional approach in React using Hooks.
  • Experience as a software architect, with a profound database knowledge, Linux/Unix skills, Cloud Services, Git Workflows, and Dev/Ops.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and understanding common security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Techniques and Tools.
  • Experience in debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional written and verbal fluency in English, with German as a plus.
