About the Role

Falch GmbH is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer SPS to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and verifying electrotechnical functions and systems for our mobile high-pressure water jetting technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and automate electrotechnical functions and systems for series production
  • Maintain and update electrotechnical functions and systems
  • Program and parameterize programmable logic controllers
  • Create technical documentation, including program structures, source code comments, and test documentation
  • Conduct electrotechnical simulation tests, laboratory, and field verifications
  • Identify and evaluate technological trends
  • Support detailed planning and concepts for electrotechnical sub-projects

About You

  • Completed university degree or completed training as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology
  • Further training in PLC programming is beneficial
  • Several years of professional experience with reliable expertise and initial industry-specific knowledge
  • Practiced handling of ERP, EDM/PDM, and CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
  • Experience with CODESYS is desirable
  • Creative, careful, and comprehensible way of working with organizational talent
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • German and English suitable for everyday use
  • Open and respectful demeanor, as well as criticism and conflict resolution skills
  • Initial experience in team leadership and project management is helpful
