Your expertise will help us build exciting products for our financial services at eBay, supporting our sellers in understanding finances better and enabling seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor and guide junior team members, drive architectural decisions, and align technical decisions with the broader organization.
- Translate requirements into scalable software architectures and implement Java/Spring Boot based back-end web services.
- Develop front-end web applications using Javascript, React, and similar frameworks, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality software by setting up robust CI/CD pipelines, designing and writing tests, contributing to code reviews and code debugging, and writing documentation.
- Own major projects and features from design phase to coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree, with 7 years of experience designing and developing highly scalable web applications.
- In-depth experience in translating requirements into scalable and future-proof software architectures.
- Proficiency in back-end development of RESTful web services using Java / Spring Boot / J2EE.
- Hands-on experience in Javascript, popular front-end frameworks like React, HTML5, TypeScript, and CSS3.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Git, and familiarity with writing unit tests with mocking.
