Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to coordinate and supervise the installation and commissioning of overhead contact line systems worldwide. As a key member of our team, you will lead and advise a team of qualified professionals and technicians, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the installation and commissioning of overhead contact line systems in high-speed and streetcar projects for our customers.
  • Review requirements prior to installation, assist in preparing method statements, and plan execution processes, human resources, and tools and equipment.
  • Support the engineering team in reviewing basic and detailed designs prior to implementation and monitoring construction documents by third parties.
  • Ensure continuous progress reporting, problem resolution management, and professional interdisciplinary communication with all parties involved.
  • Comply with relevant regulations regarding safety, environmental protection, and information security.

Requirements

  • University degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Many years of relevant professional experience in projects related to overhead contact line systems and experience in a team management role.
  • Proven experience with Siemens or similar railroad overhead contact line systems, associated equipment, and experience with up to 25 kV OCS field construction projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in reading and understanding designs, installation principles, and relevant standards.
  • Intercultural experience through stays abroad and a willingness to travel worldwide (up to 80%).
  • Fluency in English and ideally speak German well.
