Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in nonwoven technology and a strong background in machine and process development, particularly in the field of needle felts and nonwovens.

With a focus on the German market, the successful candidate will work closely with customers to design, develop, and implement innovative nonwoven fabric systems tailored to their needs.

The role involves planning and design of machines, defining technical requirements and performance parameters, and executing commissioning processes to ensure performance requirements are met.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for conducting trials, analysing and documenting process parameters, and collaborating with the development team to improve and develop new machines.

The successful candidate will also lead development projects, coordinate interfaces between mechanical engineering, production, and sales, and provide technical assistance in sales projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or Textile Technology
• Several years of experience in machine and process development, particularly in needle felts and nonwovens
• In-depth knowledge of nonwoven technology and relevant machines and processes
• High willingness to travel globally to support customer projects on-site
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for process optimisation and the development of new methods
