Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you'll be responsible for creating and administering payroll for both headquarters and operations, ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and social security laws.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Administration: Create and manage payroll for both headquarters and operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary information, certifications, and reports to authorities, including social security and tax offices.
- Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes and tools, contributing to the creation of reports and personnel statistics.
- Special Cases: Handle issues related to maternity protection, parental leave, garnishments, company pension schemes, and special social security cases.
- A degree in accounting, payroll, or HR.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in payroll, preferably in a fast-growing company.
- Profound knowledge of labor, tax, and social security law.
- Previous experience using German billing software (ideally SAP) is desirable.
- Independent work style, reliability, sense of responsibility, and high focus on service.
- Native-level written and spoken German knowledge, good written and spoken English knowledge.
