Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering strategic financial insights to our business lines, coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, and developing financial models to aid decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business lines to deliver strategic financial insights and support business growth.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Develop financial models to aid decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Provide periodic reporting for senior management, including analysis and insights that link financial reports to business strategies.
  • Deliver financial literacy training to staff to improve financial understanding and awareness.
  • Review client accounts and projects to identify risks and underperformance of finances early.
  • Undertake due diligence research on acquisitions and mergers to ensure sound financial decisions.
  • Communicate opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the business to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or economic field.
  • +6 years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner or Head of Finance.
  • Professional qualifications, including completing an internationally recognized accounting designation such as CPA, ACA, ACMA, or ACCA.
  • Experience working with business requirements and financial software.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with a large amount of information, and strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to make complex decisions and rationalize them according to others.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including effective communication abilities with individual colleagues, relevant teams, and senior management and board members.
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with financial software is a plus.
