About the Role
In this role, you will define the signaling and communication system concept for international mainline railway projects. You will analyze the tender, clarify, evaluate, and document all technical and operational requirements, and take these into account in the system concept.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the technical interfaces in coordination with suppliers and specialist departments and ensure their compatibility with each other.
- Prepare the customer-specific technical tender documentation, assess technical risks before implementation, and document the result.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in engineering, natural sciences, or information science.
- You have many years of professional experience as a System Manager (f/m/d) for highly complex projects in railway automation.
- You understand how to integrate technical and non-technical stakeholders in a complex system architecture.
- You have intercultural experience and enthusiasm for working in an international team.
- You have very good English language skills and a willingness to travel internationally (approx. 15%).
