Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Institute of Medical Biochemistry, University of Münster, Germany.

About the Position

This is a full-time position with 38.5 hours per week, initially limited to 36 months. The successful candidate will work on investigating single cell and population dynamics during innate immune responses, using a variety of techniques specializing in various imaging modalities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on mast cell and neutrophil biology in vitro and in vivo
  • Develop and implement new imaging techniques and computational image analysis methods
  • Collaborate with international and interdisciplinary research groups
  • Contribute to the development of research projects and proposals
Requirements
  • PhD in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related field
  • Excellent publication record and strong background in cell biology, immunology, and inflammation
  • Relevant documented experience in live cell imaging and computational image analysis
  • Relevant documented experience in mouse work
