Your Key Responsibilities- Commission and parameterize application technology hardware, ensuring seamless integration with sensors, actuators, and control loops.
- Conduct process tests for plant safety, guaranteeing a secure working environment.
- Optimize processes for 240 robots, focusing on quality, availability, and cycle time, and adapt application software accordingly.
- Post-process PLC programs, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
- Train production and maintenance teams in PLC-related topics, promoting knowledge sharing and expertise.
- Manage and control complex automation projects, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Diagnose and rectify PLC faults, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Vocational training in a metal, IT, or electrical profession, with relevant further education or a degree in mechatronics, electrical, or automation engineering.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in body-in-white production.
- Familiarity with Siemens Step7 controllers and the ability to create projects and ensure final acceptance.
- Knowledge of joining techniques used in body-in-white production.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and spoken German skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
