Job Description
Your Role:
As a Mechatronic Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test procedures for mechatronic systems, including electronic and mechanical components. You will work on validation projects, ensuring the functionality and durability of products in various development stages.
Your Challenges:
- Collaboration with development teams to identify test requirements and create validation plans
- Design and conception of tests, considering the necessary measurement and testing techniques
- Development and programming of automated test sequences to verify the required functions of components, focusing on electrical and electronic aspects
- Independent collection, evaluation, and documentation of test results, including preparation of release test reports and presentations in German and English
- Presentation of validation results to the team and customers
- Responsibility for the validation team within development projects, with technical guidance over test assistants
- Consultation and support for team members and customers in establishing and implementing new testing methods
Your Profile:
- Education: Completed studies with a focus on Mechatronics/Electronics or equivalent qualification
- Experience: Several years of experience in simulation testing, considering specific parameters of components and systems regarding their interaction in mechatronic control and regulation systems
- Familiarity with complex relationships between functions in distributed systems (electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and regulation-technical)
- Ability to derive test cases independently
- Experience with agile development processes in international teams
- Excellent knowledge of measurement and regulation technology
- Ability to program software test methods
- Confident handling of common bus systems (e.g., Labview and communication protocols) and measurement tools
- Excellent connections to universities, universities of applied sciences, and external research institutions
- Language skills: Very good German and English skills in speech and writing
- Personality: Excellent presentation and communication skills on various levels
- Implementation and result-oriented with strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Confident appearance and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Willingness to take on technical and supervisory responsibility
- Willingness for necessary business trips to other MANN+HUMMEL locations and abroad
- Organizational talent and a high level of initiative and social competence
- Team spirit, communicative skills, and structured, independent, and goal-oriented work
