Seafreight Coordinator

Job Summary:

LOGISTIC PEOPLE (Deutschland) GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and organized Seafreight Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating seafreight operations, managing freight requests, and ensuring seamless communication with national and international partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate seafreight operations in the import or export sectors, ensuring timely and efficient processing of freight requests.
• Manage freight requests, including cost calculations and offer preparation.
• Prepare and issue all necessary freight documents, as well as handle customs clearance.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with national and international partners and customers, ensuring clear understanding of freight operations and requirements.
• Process incoming invoices and issue invoices for completed transactions.
• Manage claims and damages related to freight operations.

Requirements:

• Completed commercial training in an industrial, logistical, or forwarding environment.
• Freshly graduated or several years of experience: both are welcome
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fluent in German and English, both in writing and speaking.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
• A structured and meticulous approach to work, with a high level of customer orientation.
