Key Responsibilities- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for non-ferrous metals, aligning with Siemens' sustainability targets and ensuring the best possible purchasing conditions.
- Market Analysis: Analyze the physical metal market, including worldwide demand and supply, regional markets, and suppliers, to inform procurement decisions.
- Sustainability Strategy: Develop and implement a common sustainability strategy for raw materials, including copper, and continuously monitor trends and market developments.
- 2nd Tier Management: Develop innovative sustainability 2nd tier models, considering risk and contract management aspects, to ensure effective procurement practices.
- Collaboration: Initiate and build a network with internal and external partners, including strategic suppliers, to achieve sustainability targets and drive digitalization.
- Digitalization & Resilience: Drive the further digitalization of processes and develop resilient sustainability strategies for the area of responsibility.
- Internationality & Network Building: Act as a role model and proactively lead the sustainability of exchange traded commodities, working in an international team.
- Education: Master's degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience in the physical metal market, including refining and electrolysis, and sustainability management.
- Skills: Strong technical understanding, excellent commodity market knowledge, and broad know-how of relevant procurement and supply processes, including negotiation abilities.
- Language: Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
