Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT System Architect to join our team. As an IT System Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and improving the overall structure and architecture of our global IT technology landscape. You will work closely with process analysts, data and application architects to ensure that our IT systems meet the business requirements of our company.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of system architecture and various technical areas, including software development, databases, networks, emerging technologies, and security. You will be responsible for integrating various hardware, network, and IT infrastructure components to ensure seamless communication and functionality within our IT system. You will also contribute to the selection of suitable technologies and tools in consultation with the IT infrastructure leadership and various service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan the overall structure and architecture of our global IT technology landscape
  • Integrate various hardware, network, and IT infrastructure components to ensure seamless communication and functionality
  • Select suitable technologies and tools in consultation with the IT infrastructure leadership and various service providers
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in our IT system and develop measures to minimize them
  • Document system architecture, design decisions, and technical specifications to ensure clear communication between team members and stakeholders
  • Perform comprehensive testing of our IT system to validate functionality, performance, and security

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience: Proven experience in system architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure management
  • Skills: Strong understanding of system architecture, software development, databases, networks, emerging technologies, and security
  • Language: Excellent German and English language skills
