About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at Deutsche Börse AG. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and administering our Linux server systems, ensuring the reliability and performance of our critical trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, including upgrades, patches, tuning, and optimization.
  • Ensure the reliability of our high availability infrastructure and provide advanced support to users.
  • Plan and execute server setup and refreshes for critical IT server solutions.
  • Collaborate with international teams and communicate effectively in both German and English.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux installation, monitoring, maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Git for version control and proficiency in scripting (Python, shell scripting).
  • Understanding of cluster concepts, especially Pacemaker, and familiarity with virtualization/containerized technologies (e.g., RHV, VMWare).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international team.
