Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory analyses to efficiently identify pathogens for patient therapy, ensuring accurate and timely results.
• Handle a variety of infection diagnostics, including PCR-based methods for pathogen identification, and maintain internal quality control.
• Update standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Completed training as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist for Laboratory Analysis.
• Experience working in a microbiology lab, with a strong understanding of culture-based and PCR-based methods like EUCAST.
• Proficient in MS-Office skills and detail-oriented with a drive for process improvement and result quality.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the laboratory.
