IT Security Manager

MAM Gruppe, a leading industry player, is seeking an IT Security Manager to join their team in Mannheim. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security and be confident, goal-oriented, and proactive.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Information Security Strategy: Plan, execute, and oversee initiatives to improve the global information security strategy, including Microsoft 365 security, SAP/ERP security, network security, operational technology, penetration testing, and cyber awareness.
  • Develop Security Policies and Protocols: Create and continuously improve security policies and protocols.
  • Support IT Audits: Assist with IT audits and implement necessary security measures following audit findings.
  • Risk Assessment and Protection Requirements: Conduct risk assessments and analyze protection requirements.
  • IT Emergency Response Planning: Design and implement IT emergency response plans.
  • Evaluate Cloud-Based Applications: Evaluate cloud-based applications to ensure they meet security compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with External Partners: Coordinate with external service providers and partner organizations.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in computer science, business informatics, economics with an IT focus, or a related field of study.
  • Proven experience in IT security, preferably within consultancy or a medium-sized business with international exposure.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 security, with knowledge of Microsoft Azure being highly advantageous.
  • Experience in project management is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP security and data protection would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, coupled with a proactive, hands-on approach and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivation and autonomy in driving security initiatives forward.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with an enthusiasm for working in a global network.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
