At Amazon, we rely on our logistics team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and efficient delivery. As an Area Manager within our Amazon Transportation Service (ATS), you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of productivity, safety, and quality that drive our success.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a culture of safety and wellbeing among your team members.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Lead projects aimed at streamlining processes, optimizing productivity, and increasing the quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility.
  • Evaluate shift performance against business objectives and develop strategies to improve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices and ensure consistency across the board.

A Day in the Life:

You'll work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on driving productivity and ensuring smooth operations. Your main priorities will be to own and drive a culture of safety, uphold quality and shift performance standards, and oversee process improvements within your area. A typical day will be varied, encompassing tasks such as routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and wide-scale operational contingency tasks.

With expertise in air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with cutting-edge technology, we capture data to drive informed decisions and foster innovation. Our team prioritizes safety above all else, recognizing the value of our people in achieving our goals.

What We Offer:

We're committed to providing a dynamic and inclusive work environment where you can grow professionally and personally. In this role, you can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant experience in people management, communication, and data-driven decision-making
