Risk Management Specialist - Capital Investments
VHV Group is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Risk Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the success of our capital investments by conducting comprehensive risk analyses and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform continuous risk capacity calculations and conduct stress and scenario analyses to safeguard the profitability of capital investments.
- Calculate capital investment risks and prepare quarterly reports (QRTs) in accordance with Solvency II regulations.
- Shape the capital investment strategy of VHV Group's subsidiaries through rigorous Asset-Liability Management (ALM) analyses.
- Contribute to strategic asset allocation and long-term investment planning by leveraging forecasting and analytical skills.
Your Profile:
- Possess a degree in Business Administration or Mathematical Economics, with a specialization in Finance or quantitative methods.
- Demonstrate experience in capital investment risk management within the banking or insurance sector (preferred).
- Exhibit a strong understanding of regulatory capital investment requirements in insurance or asset management (e.g., Solvency II).
- Proficiency in Excel and programming languages such as VBA is essential.
- Display an analytical mindset and a passion for working with numbers.
- Communicate effectively in English.
