Data Scientist Internship in Natural Language Processing

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented intern to join our innovative team in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Named Entity Recognition (NER). As a Data Scientist Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge machine learning models and work closely with our team to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a machine learning program for anonymizing internal departmental data using a transformer model and proprietary data generator.
  • Ensure that our ML models are accessible as a service via pipelines in an Azure cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure technical documentation and information sharing across the organization.
  • Work independently and actively on various projects, with flexible adaptation of responsibilities based on your experience, wishes, and abilities.
Requirements
  • Studies in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field with advanced basic studies.
  • Experience with transformer models, NLP, and NER; Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch; some experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure and Databricks.
  • A person with a structured and responsible work ethic.
  • Good command of German and English.
