About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Raisin, a dynamic and fast-growing fintech company. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Support the consolidation of financial statements and prepare for audits.
  • Develop and implement accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the AP team to ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor bills.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior accountants and other team members.
Requirements
  • Academic degree in accounting or a comparable education/qualification.
  • Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills.
  • Several years of practical experience in financial accounting, including both General Ledger and Accounts Payables functions.
  • Strong ability to handle German Local GAAP (HGB), IFRS and German Tax matters.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and accounting management principles, as well as general ledger and accounts payables processes.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Experience in supporting statutory audits of annual financial statements and tax audits.
