Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Expert in Construction Cost Management to join our team. As a key member of our construction cost management team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining construction cost benchmarks, compiling cost estimates and project budgets, and analyzing and evaluating cost calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction Cost Benchmarking: Prepare and maintain construction cost benchmarks based on internal Siemens Healthineers projects and external reference projects.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Compile cost estimates and project budgets in cooperation with the project manager and project team, considering life cycle costs and post-project phase calculations.
- Cost Analysis and Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate cost calculations of architects and engineers for completeness, plausibility, and economic feasibility, including utilization costs.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain a database for national (German) and international construction costs.
- Project Planning and Control: Develop strategies for efficient project planning and project control.
- Market Reporting: Prepare and maintain construction cost market reports relevant to the organization.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction cost management, with a strong background in cost estimation, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and experience with cost controlling software.
