Join Our Team as a Senior Grid Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Grid Engineer to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our Grid Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in creating grid solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects across Europe.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement grid solutions for renewable energy projects, from conceptual design to execution.
  • Contribute to the development and realization of renewables projects at all stages, focusing on grid connection and substation topics.
  • Undertake engineering assessments to define technical specifications, design, and drawings, as well as CAPEX requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with European engineering norms, standards, legislation, and regulations related to electrical systems and grid operation.
  • Engage with DNO/TNOs to secure and develop grid connections.
  • Define and oversee external engineering services, as well as scope of technical contracts.
  • Apply various engineering applications, including Powerfactory and AutoCAD.
  • Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement in all areas.
Your Profile
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced vocational qualifications and practical experience considered).
  • At least four years of experience in electrical grid engineering.
  • Solution-oriented working, able to make high-quality decisions.
  • Creative, open-minded individual with good sense of humor.
  • Business fluency in English (Comparable C1 level).
  • Independent individual and team player.
