Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Signal Mechanic:in (w/m/d) to join our team at DB InfraGO AG. As a Signal Mechanic:in, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of various electrical and mechanical systems in the field of signaling and safety technology.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems, including signals, switches, and interlockings.
- Your focus will be on electronic components, but you will also learn about mechanical components.
- You will work independently and in teams to complete tasks and projects.
- You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical systems in the field, with a focus on outdoor work.
- You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with electrical and mechanical systems.
- You will create and submit reports on your work and findings.
Your Profile:
- You have a completed education in electrical engineering, such as an electrician, mechatronics engineer, electrical engineer, or automation specialist.
- You are willing to participate in our comprehensive training program and are eager to learn and develop your skills.
- You are comfortable working outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.
- You are a team player and are able to work independently and collaboratively with others.
- You have a valid driver's license (Class B).
