Private Equity Investing Opportunities

At Goldman Sachs, we are seeking a highly motivated and well-rounded Associate to join our Private Equity Team in Munich, as part of the Asset Management Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating attractive investment themes and opportunities, building relationships with management teams and external industry experts, and developing, monitoring, and implementing value creation strategies at our existing portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across various industries and geographies
  • Building and maintaining relationships with management teams, senior advisors, and external industry experts
  • Performing due diligence and financial modeling to support investment decisions
  • Developing and implementing value creation strategies at our existing portfolio companies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate, private equity, or alternative asset management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with a track record of excellence in career and academics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in German and English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
