About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Finance team at sennder, Europe's leading digital freight forwarder.

As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in helping us revolutionize road freight logistics by overseeing corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and annual/long-term planning with support from key departments.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to cross-company operating teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and annual/long-term planning with support from key departments (Sales, Ops, Engineering & Product)
  • Provide financial reporting and key business metrics to cross-company operating teams
  • Participate in strategic finance projects (M&A, Debt/Equity financing, capital allocation)
  • Build bottom-up analyses to drive better investment decisions and optimal resource allocation
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with business leaders to become a trusted advisor

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with business teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and that budgets align with corporate goals. You will also encourage financial accountability across the organization, raising awareness among teams of the financial implications of their activities and decisions.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a FP&A department; preferably from growth-tech companies
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with sound accounting knowledge (IFRS is a plus)
  • Prior working experience with Budgeting & Planning tools (e.g., PlanFul, TM1, Adaptive, Oracle Hyperion)
  • Prior working experience with data visualization software (e.g., Looker/Tableau) and ERP software (e.g., Oracle)
  • Proficient with Excel and possess advanced modeling skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English skills, verbally and written
  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent

We offer a competitive compensation package including an estimated salary of approximately €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic and international work environment.
