Software Architect for Automotive Systems

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software architectures for our automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software architectures for electromechanical systems, including direction, braking, and autonomous driving systems.
- Define architectural strategies based on new technological advancements.
- Develop innovative solutions for Level 4 and 5 autonomous driving and e-mobility challenges.
- Analyze and understand software requirements, including cybersecurity and functional safety, in accordance with ISO26262.
- Lead global customer projects, developing dynamic concepts and managing large-scale product development processes.
- Develop technical application concepts and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments and locations to work as part of a global team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Electrical and Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience in embedded software development, with expertise in UML and requirement analysis.
- Excellent analytical and structured working skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a willingness to travel for work.
- Proficiency in English or German.
