Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Galileo Satellite Navigation Data Dissemination Engineer to join our team at OSB AG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the G2G satellite navigation payload data dissemination simulator
  • Ensure the flow-down of satellite level data dissemination requirements on C-/S-Band and inter-satellite link message data structure
  • Process satellite and navigation message data (e.g. authentication, encoding, encryption)
  • Define downlink navigation message data broadcast timeline and flexibility to lower-level specifications for sub-systems and units
  • Support subsystem teams for correct understanding and implementation of the Data Dissemination requirements
  • Review and contribute to Data Dissemination design and implementation aspects and trade-offs
  • Support payload and sub-systems milestone reviews
  • Review and contribute to Data Dissemination verification & validation activities
  • Contribute to development of SOCs / RVM / VCD for Data Dissemination related customer requirements
  • Contribute to Satellite operation procedures on message aspects
  • Contribute to non-conformance analysis, resolution and support to Non-conformance Review Board (NRB) meetings
  • Present and discuss the results in front of national and international customers
Requirements
  • Hold a Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or in one of comparable courses of study
  • Have an understanding of systems engineering processes and review gates
  • Have good knowledge of satellite navigation systems, with Galileo 2nd Generation being an asset
  • Have a deep understanding of the Galileo navigation data layer, including navigation services, page types, dissemination layouts and encoding schemes
  • Have ideally an understanding of OSNMA, authentication schemes, encryption and key management
  • Have ideally knowledge in Software Development
  • Have knowledge in Doors and MATLAB, at least knowledge of the detailed functions
  • Have fluent English skills and ideally German and/or French
