**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a key member of our engine workshop, you will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of motors, gearboxes, and drive components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and disassembly of motors, gearboxes, and drive components
  • Recording and evaluation of bolting data during assembly and loosening/residual torques
  • Measurement of individual components and groups
  • Documentation of measured values according to customer specifications in specially specified databases
  • Detection and assessment of damage and anomalies
  • Taking over logistical handling (preparation, post-processing, and commissioning) in the engine workshop
  • Detailed photo documentation of all individual parts, including digital post-processing of the files
  • Preparation and packaging of disassembled engines for shipment to the customer

Requirements:

  • Completed technical vocational training, e.g., as an automotive mechanic or mechatronics technician, or a comparable qualification, also lateral entrants are welcome
  • Initial practical experience in the assembly and disassembly of engines
  • Basic knowledge of engine technology, possibly specialist knowledge in the field of combustion engines
  • Interest in measuring components
  • Confident handling of common MS Office products
  • Written and spoken German language skills
  • Structured and team-oriented way of working, reliability, independence, flexibility, and commitment
  • Willingness to undergo continuous further training and to actively contribute the experience gained to the team
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system by arrangement
  • Working time model: 39.5 hours/week
