Job Description

As a Special Education Teacher at Promedis24 GmbH, you will be responsible for the care, development support, and promotion of children, adolescents, and adults with physical, intellectual, emotional, or multiple disabilities. Your primary goal will be to facilitate their educational and professional integration, while activating, motivating, and strengthening their existing resources to enhance social participation and independent living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual assistance to those in need of support, utilizing your specialized knowledge tailored to the didactic, pedagogical, and therapeutic approaches of the respective institution.
  • Structure the daily lives of intellectually and/or physically disabled individuals, applying your expertise to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Document implemented measures, write development reports, compile support plans, and put them into practice, ensuring the highest level of care and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and institutions to ensure a seamless integration of services and support, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
Requirements
  • A degree in Special Education B.A. (or higher) or a qualification as a state-recognized Educator or Special Needs Caregiver with completed further training in Special Education.
  • A professional mindset focused on the participation, integration, and self-determination of physically or mentally impaired individuals.
  • Good observational skills, confident demeanor, and structured work organization.
  • Excellent German language skills (at least B2 level).
  • Empathy, openness, and enjoyment in working with people.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
