About the Role
Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading our global sourcing efforts to drive cost savings and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement design-to-cost methodologies
- Monitor and report on value engineering programs to ensure cost savings and process improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize sourcing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or strategy in the wind industry
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Strong data management and Microsoft Office Excel skills
- Project management experience with technical and commercial skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
