Watercraft Underwriting Specialist

Pantaenius Gruppe, a leading specialist in water sports insurance, seeks an experienced Watercraft Underwriting Specialist for its Hamburg office. This challenging role requires strong analytical and communication skills to underwrite Superyachts for the Pantaenius Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite Superyachts for various business areas
• Support general underwriting within the Pantaenius Group
• Plan and coordinate projects, both individually and as part of group-wide initiatives
• Collaborate with the Chief Underwriting Office on internal communications, order coordination, and follow-ups
• Maintain and update internal guidelines

About You:

• A degree or apprenticeship in the insurance industry or equivalent
• German language proficiency is mandatory, along with excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• A proactive work style, strong team player mentality, and professional approach to client management
• Knowledge of the insurance business, specifically Pleasure Craft
• Ideal enthusiasm for boating (motor or sail)
