Internship in Supply Chain Management: Optimizing Logistics and Processes

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Supply Chain Management team at Mercedes-Benz. As an intern in the Processes, Methods, and Systems of Supply Chain Optimization team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our experienced professionals to optimize logistics and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to optimize and introduce new processes, methods, and systems
  • Prepare and assist with the documentation of planned and implemented processes in the system environment
  • Creation of project documentation and presentations
  • Joint promotion of the team in the context of various activities in the logistics process

Requirements:

  • You are a student of industrial engineering, business informatics, or economics (e.g., business administration, purchasing, and logistics or similar)
  • You have initial knowledge of supply chain management, logistics/materials management
  • You have strong analytical skills and a good grasp of complex processes
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
  • You are confident with MS Office
