**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Labor Assistant to join our team at our Erkrath location. As a Labor Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring the smooth execution of our research and development activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the preparation and disposal of consumables
  • Clean and maintain microbiological safety workbenches, CO2 incubators, freezers, centrifuges, and other laboratory equipment
  • Verify safety equipment
  • Prepare buffers and materials
  • Manage inventory and orders
  • Properly inactivate and dispose of laboratory waste
  • Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of our quality control systems (GMP)

**Requirements**

  • First-hand experience in a similar role or a strong interest in laboratory work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems
  • Fluency in German and basic English skills
