Financial Analyst Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our team at Utimaco. As an integral part of our accounting department, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations, developing reports, and assisting with financial statements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should be enrolled in a business administration or comparable course of study and have a strong understanding of numbers and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential. Your excellent written and spoken German language skills, as well as basic English knowledge, will enable effective communication within our global team.

Your Tasks

• Support the operative day-to-day business of the accounting department">
• Develop, maintain, and document reports">
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements">
• Involvement in the further development of finance processes and the creation of analysis and in the day-to-day business of Group Accounting">
• Support assessment of issues according to international accounting standards (IFRS organizational and administrative tasks)">

Your Profile

• ">
• Enrolled student of business administration or a comparable course of study">
• You are interested in accounting according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) - IFRS is also welcome - and you may already have some initial knowledge of the subject">
• Strong understanding of numbers and good analytical skills">
• Very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel">
• High level of initiative and commitment, as well as teamwork and social skills">
• Fluent written and spoken German">
• Basic English">

This salary range is based on national averages for similar positions in Germany and takes into account factors such as cost of living, industry standards, and required qualifications.
