SAP Application Manager in the Financial Sector

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Application Manager to join our team at Bayerische Versorgungskammer. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for optimizing SAP modules in the financial sector, analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions to improve our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize SAP modules in the financial sector through analysis, consulting, and solution development
  • Implement customizing and ABAP programming to meet the needs of our financial departments
  • Manage interfaces with adjacent systems in the financial and real estate sectors
  • Develop and maintain SAP authorization, role, and user management
  • Participate in SAP projects as a team member
  • Become the subject matter expert for our liquidity planning and payment processing software (ITS ion)
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules CML, TRM, FI, and customizing
  • Technical knowledge of interfaces and payment processing
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical understanding
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
