Data Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Manager to join our team at J.P. Sauer & Sohn Maschinenbau GmbH, a renowned mechanical engineering company with a rich history spanning 140 years. As a key player in our organization, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving the quality of data within our engineering and downstream partner interfaces.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively shaping and supporting the flow of R&D and engineering data between our engineering systems and ERP system as a Data Manager. Key responsibilities include:

• Proactive optimization of data flows within the engineering systems (PLM, CMS, configurator) and interfaces in business processes
• Ensuring data exchange between the CAD, PLM, and ERP systems
• Taking over the key user function for the ERP system in the engineering and R&D area
• Creation of training documents and training of employees on the subject of technical data flows
• Supporting teams with process questions and optimization requests in dealing with technical PLM and ERP data

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

• A completed engineering degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
• Good process knowledge in engineering and data management
• Relevant experience in the area of data flows in ERP systems, ideally Infor LN
• High IT and process affinity
• Independent, structured, and autonomous working style
• High customer orientation with a focus on high usability and system support
• Strong solution-oriented thinking and action
• Willingness to undergo further training and development
• Team and communication skills
• Confident written and spoken English skills
• Efficient task and time management
• Good knowledge of standard software
• High level of commitment and flexibility
