About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our Cyber Security Architecture and Strategy team, you will be responsible for developing strategies and coordinating solutions to improve BASF's security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on the evaluation of security requirements in consultation with all strategic business areas and support the development of security standards.
  • Initiate security projects and act as a professional caretaker for such.
  • Exchange knowledge and collaborate across teams within the IT organization.
  • Communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders and communities to raise awareness for security during solution design.
  • Develop and evaluate measures to reduce identified security risks.
Requirements
  • degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security or Mathematics and relevant professional experience.
  • experience in cyber security architecture and consulting skills.
  • strong technical knowledge and fundamentals of IT/OT security.
  • experiences in the field of evaluation and implementation of new cyber solutions.
  • certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP,OSCP.
  • good communication skills in English and fluent German skills.
