Memory Technologies Group Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Manager to lead our Memory Technologies team at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative memory technologies and leading a team of experts in this field.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a highly qualified international team and manage resources to achieve success in the development of memory technologies.
- Create a trusting and motivating work culture and encourage open discussions within the team.
- Drive forward developments in material and storage technology with determination and use the knowledge gained to improve storage technology in collaboration with industry partners.
- Implement research and development (R&D) solutions that are in demand, combining science and industry in your work for various clients.
- Manage projects and shape the further development and maintenance of scientific know-how.
- Present scientific results at conferences and publish them in prestigious journals.
- Support acquisition activities for your team and contribute to the success of the business area.
- Academic degree in physics, nanoelectronics, electrical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of microelectronics and semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proven track record in leading project or research teams.
- Structured and organized way of working, with a conceptual and strategic understanding of the development of topics and the promotion of new ideas.
- Strong motivation and ability to produce excellent scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and at relevant conferences.
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with management and project leaders across all business units.
- Very good German and English language skills.
