We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Expert to join our team at DP World. As a key member of our Data and Analytics Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems, with a focus on Databricks, machine learning, and data modeling.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Logistics Pillar and DP World regional operations to drive change within Group Technology.
- Work closely with Operations Excellence, Finance, HR, Sales, and Procurement to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain data models and pipelines to support business decision-making.
- Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and security.
- Work with the senior IT shared services leadership team to ensure collaboration and alignment with solutions and services.
- Support Group Compliance, Group People, and Legal in ensuring DP World policies and legal requirements are met.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Databricks and machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala (Pyspark preferred).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Databricks Associate Certification required.
