People Operations Partner

We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Partner (m/f/d) to support our team at Tenneco.
The primary objective of this role is to collaborate with senior management on effective people management strategies, guiding them through organizational processes while fostering engagement, development, and involvement of both individuals and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to managers on all employee-related matters, including labor laws, collective agreements, and social legislation, while coordinating necessary actions with relevant departments and external organizations.
- Contribute to the execution of personnel planning and oversee the recruitment, support, and development processes.
- Analyze and interpret personnel-related metrics, offering insights and recommendations to management.
- Manage compensation-related activities, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Assist in the formulation of company agreements in collaboration with the works council and relevant departments.
- Offer support and advice to employees on career development, health, and safety matters.
- Aid departments in identifying training needs and designing appropriate training programs.
- Design and facilitate workshops in partnership with specialized departments, and participate in HR and organizational development projects.
- Lead HR initiatives and collaborate with international HR teams to implement standardized processes and drive continuous improvement aligned with global HR strategies.
Qualifications for Success
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, psychology, human resources management, or a related field.
- An international perspective and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Over 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a manufacturing context.
- Proven experience in conceptual HR work and supporting change management and organizational development.
- Strong communication and consulting skills.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
- Competence in using standard MS Office applications.
- A personable and sociable demeanor.
- Empathy and conflict resolution skills.
