We are currently seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician to join our team in Munich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing structural repair tasks, installing and repairing sheet metal components, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of repairs.
Your Responsibilities
- Support line managers by performing aircraft structural repair tasks in accordance with repair data provided;
- Install, repair, inspect, and replace sheet metal components as required;
- Ensure all repairs meet aviation safety guidelines and operate sheet metal tools safely;
- Complete accurate and timely repair documentation;
- Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and report incidents through the Company Safety Management System;
- Provide detailed documentation of work carried out on aircraft;
- Ensure calibrated equipment and tooling is stored, calibrated, labelled, and recorded correctly;
- Maintain shopfloor standards through general housekeeping.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Completed a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training, or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship;
- Minimum of 3 years sheet metal work experience on live aircraft;
- Basic knowledge of EASA/CAA, HSE legislation;
- Basic IT knowledge;
- Ability to work independently and make recommendations for improvements;
- Eligibility to work in Europe or the United Kingdom without restriction;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Eligibility for an airside pass;
- Highly motivated and a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
