MODIFI GmbH is a pioneering company in the global trade payment platform, dedicated to making international trade easier and more efficient. We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Berlin and contribute to shaping the future of global commerce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and advance our cloud infrastructure, built on Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS, to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Design and implement cost-effective production infrastructure with a focus on high-availability, failover, scaling, and security.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using best practices and collaborate with our Dev Teams to support and improve the software development life-cycle.
  • Participate in Engineering decisions to further improve our infrastructure and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Junior team members to mentor and support their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, and Cloud Engineering, preferably with microservices SaaS products.
  • Expertise in Linux operating system administration, troubleshooting, and automation, with a strong understanding of foundational internet technologies.
  • Experience in application containerization, orchestration, monitoring, logging, automation, and troubleshooting with Kubernetes platform and related best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for building great things together with the team.
