Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at AXIS Group. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing accounts, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions, maintaining detailed records and performing regular reconciliations.
- Account Preparation: Prepare both interim and annual accounts, guaranteeing precision in reporting and ensuring timely submission.
- Reporting and Communication: Craft monthly and quarterly reports, sharing them with relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- GAAP Reconciliations: Handle GAAP reconciliations across various standards, including US GAAP, UK GAAP, Lux GAAP, and/or IFRS.
- Tax Provisions and Returns: Calculate tax provisions and meticulously review tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with external entities, such as tax advisors, auditors, and business partners, for seamless operations.
- Team Engagement: Engage with internal and international teams within the organization, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Administrative Support: Address administrative and accounting queries systematically and proactively, providing timely support.
- Document Preparation: Draft distribution memorandums in a clear and concise manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Compliance and Protocols: Uphold administrative compliance standards and protocols diligently, ensuring all necessary follow-ups and filings are completed in a timely manner.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Luxembourg, specifically in accounting, audit, or financial control, with exposure to PE, RE, and debts investments being a plus.
- Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work independently and accurately.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and understanding of accounting techniques and procedures, with a proactive and service-minded approach.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in BOB 50 and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to changes and work independently.
