We are seeking a highly skilled Development Architect to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting custom software solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers and integrate seamlessly with our SAP Business Technology Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom software solutions for our customers using SAP S/4 HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Work closely with internal colleagues, partners, and customer teams to ensure successful project completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and specify business requirements gathered in customer workshops
- Implement and maintain software solutions, ensuring compliance with development standards and methodologies
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs and expectations
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in design and development on SAP S/4 HANA or Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Proficiency in either React development or full stack ABAP technologies (CDS, Gateway, CAP, UI5, Fiori Elements)
- Experience in implementing GenAI and/or Machine Learning use cases
- Excellent presentation skills and experience in customer interaction, such as customer workshops or technical management of customer escalations
- Experience in at least one industry, such as Finance or Automotive/Logistics, is a plus
- Research experience (e.g. PhD study) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Comply with development standards and methodologies (Scrum, quality, security, performance)
- Self-motivating style of working combined with a continuous learning mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English
