Job Title: Energy Management Product Manager

Exide Technologies GmbH is a leading provider of innovative and sustainable battery storage solutions for automotive and industrial applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Management Product Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align our energy storage product portfolio with current market requirements and bridge with the R&D team.
  • Oversee product certifications and adjustments to regional specific requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, technical developments, and innovation in the energy storage offer to define and guide R&D on future product development.
  • Ensure product cost targets are met, providing inputs to other functions in the internal value chain to ensure a competitive product line meeting market requirements.
  • Provide technical support to the sales team for product information, customer training, and technical data sheet analyses.
  • Prioritize sales projects to be supported by R&D.
  • Organize product launch programs and coordinate product information with our communication teams.
  • Support pre-sales and project technical analyses.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a technical/engineering field.
  • A specialization or training in energy or renewable energy is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management positions, and ideally a strong desire and eagerness to be engaged in battery technologies on a technical level.
  • Recognized for communication skills, with the ability to work closely with different functions.
  • Proven track record of dealing with customers and committed to developing collaborative relationships to deliver results.
  • Proficient written and spoken English and German skills.
