Medical Imaging Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Specialist (w/m/d) with X-Ray Certificate to join our team at Asklepios Klinik Sankt Augustin.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of radiological examinations and procedures
- Participate in on-call duties and provide emergency coverage
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including KIS and PACS systems
- Coordinate patient scheduling and appointments
- Process and manage medical records and billing for inpatient and outpatient services
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the X-Ray Ordinance, Hygiene Ordinance, and Data Protection Act
Requirements
- Completed training as a Medical Imaging Specialist (w/m/d)
- Current X-Ray Certificate
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding practices
- Desirable: experience working with children and adolescents
- Interest in ongoing professional development and training in medical imaging
