**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Scutari. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving culinary excellence, menu development, and kitchen operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Menu Development:** Create and design menus that showcase the best of various cuisines, develop seasonal and special dishes, and innovate new recipes while maintaining authenticity and quality.
- **Kitchen Management:** Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- **Staff Leadership:** Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
- **Inventory and Cost Control:** Manage inventory, order supplies, and work with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients, monitor food costs, and implement portion control and waste management procedures.
- **Collaboration and Communication:** Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction, and communicate effectively with the restaurant management team regarding menu updates, special events, and promotions.
- **Quality Assurance:** Conduct regular quality checks of ingredients and finished products, ensure all dishes are visually appealing, and meet the restaurant's presentation standards, and address and resolve any customer complaints related to food quality.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Creative and innovative culinary skills.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
