Responsibilities- Software Testing and Verification: As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for testing and verifying safety-critical software for embedded systems in aircraft.
- Test Case Development: You will develop and implement low- and high-level software test procedures based on applicable safety requirements in the aviation industry.
- Adaptation of Test Strategies: Adapt existing test strategies to meet the requirements of new applications.
- Testing and Review: Perform manual and automated software tests in simulation environments and on HiL test benches, reviewing and analyzing test cases and results, and creating comprehensive test reports.
- Education: Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable fields of study/training.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in testing and verification of safety-critical software under DO-178.
- Skills: Good knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python or Rational Test RealTime), experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming, basic knowledge in the development of high- and low-level software requirements.
- Languages: Good command of English, both written and spoken. German skills are also beneficial.
