Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our onboarding team, you'll be responsible for architecting the way our platform collects, receives, and interacts with data from supply chains.

Your primary focus will be on designing and deploying scalable, maintainable, and reliable solutions that enable automated ingestion, analysis, and sharing of supply chain data. You'll work closely with our customers to map existing systems and data flows within supply chains, determine the most effective data collection methods, and develop comprehensive data capture solutions for validating sustainability, ethical production, and product tracing.

You'll also collaborate with our development, data engineering, and data science teams to create descriptive models of supply chains and identify reusable implementation patterns that can be developed as reusable platform components.

Requirements
  • Business fluency in English and Portuguese
  • Relevant industry experience in architecture, design, and integration of technology solutions
  • Sound knowledge of data modeling, transformation, and data ingestion concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of data orchestration and data pipeline concepts and tooling
  • Solid programming skills and hands-on experience with databases and SQL
  • Experience working with cloud service providers, ideally AWS, and supporting data integrations with 3rd parties
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  • The ability to hold your own in commercial conversations with customers and tech partners
  • Passion and desire to work on sustainability topics and ethical production within supply chains
